This premier global fund administrator is looking for a qualified Senior Financial Accountant to join their fund reporting team for an immediate start.
The Role:
This opportunity has arisen due to continued business growth and increased workload leading into year-end. Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for clients on a regular basis
- Liaise with clients and auditors to facilitate audit sign-offs and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Lead or participate in project work such as system implementation, automation initiatives and process improvements to accuracy in reporting
- Preparation and review of general and special purpose accounts for retail and wholesale managed investment funds
- Identify opportunities to streamline the preparation of financial statements
- CPA / CA qualified accountant with 4 years’ experience in public practice or fund accounting environment.
- An interest in financial markets, fund administration or asset management.
- A demonstrated collaborative work approach, proven ability to work to deadlines.
- A willingness to learn!
