You'll be reporting into an experienced Financial Controller and contributing across statutory reporting, reconciliations, and month-end processes within a well-run, structured environment. This is an initial 3-month engagement with a strong likelihood of extension for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of statutory financial statements and supporting schedules
- Month-end close processes including journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and reporting accuracy
- Support the Financial Controller with audit deliverables and external reporting requirements
- Liaise with internal stakeholders across the business to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance function
- CA or CPA qualified
- Big 4 / Mid-Tier background welcome, or solid industry/commerce experience
- Strong technical accounting skills with high attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Immediately available or on a short notice period
