Opportunity
This is a contract opportunity covering a busy period within the finance function. Working closely with the Financial Reporting Manager, you will take ownership of revenue recognition alongside month-end journals and reconciliations. It is an ideal role for someone from a software or technology background who enjoys getting across complex revenue models and client contracts.
Responsibilities
- Process revenue recognition in line with AASB 15, reviewing client contracts and applying the relevant agreement terms
- Stay across and maintain revenue models across the client portfolio
- Prepare payroll journals as part of the month-end process
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations to agreed deadlines
- Process lease accounting journals and reconciliations under AASB 16
- Assist with month-end close and general ledger reconciliations
- Support ad hoc reporting and analysis for the finance team
- CA or CPA qualified
- Strong revenue recognition experience, ideally gained within a software or technology business
- Confident reading and interpreting client contracts and applying revenue agreements
- Advanced Excel skills
- A clear communicator who works well with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- 4 month contract

- $60 to $65 per hour plus superannuation
