Working within a small, tight-knit and highly capable team, you'll collaborate with the finance team, the IT team and relevant external consultants, in ensuring best practice in the Firm's suite of systems.
Your BAU responsibilities will encompass the delivery of high quality, robust financial reporting and dashboards, acting as the key escalation point for any systems-related issues, financial analysis, preparation of business cases and the ongoing provision of continuous systems improvements.
You will drive appropriate changes to existing systems and provide support to key stakeholders (finance & IT) through ensuring a thorough understanding of business needs & offering a collaborative & consultative approach.
The nature of the role will also encompass a significant amount of project work, both around the improvement & upgrading of existing technology, as well as the implementation & integration of new technology.
You are a tertiary qualified business systems professional, initially from an accounting or finance background, but having latterly gravitated towards your calling in the Finance Systems space, with minimum 5-7 years' experience in a finance systems capacity in a large, complex Corporate. Legal and/or professional services experience is preferred.
Advanced SQL, SSRS and financial modelling experience is essential, whilst experience using Power BI (or similar) is well regarded.
Outstanding stakeholder management skills and the ability to bridge the gap effectively between finance and IT is key.
