This is a broad fund accounting role spanning complex investment structures, transactions, capital movements, tax and treasury. You'll work closely with investment professionals and an impressive national finance team, gaining exposure well beyond traditional financial reporting.
The opportunity suits an experienced, qualified Fund or Investment Accountant, or a technically strong qualified CA looking to make their first move from a leading chartered firm.
THE ROLE
You'll take ownership across a portfolio of investment entities, including:
- Fund accounting, reporting and annual compliance
- Financial statements, tax returns and investor reporting
- Complex investment structures and transactions
- Capital calls, distributions, drawdowns and repayments
- Treasury and cash management
- Partnering with investment teams on transactions and tax structuring
- Liaising with auditors, accountants and external advisers
- Process, control and systems improvement
ABOUT YOU
You may already be working within funds management, property investment, private equity or financial services. Alternatively, you could be a qualified CA/CPA from Big 4 or a leading chartered firm looking to move into funds and investments.
You'll ideally bring:
- Completed CA/CPA qualification
- Strong technical accounting capability
- Funds, investment, property or professional services experience
- Exposure to complex entities or structures
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills
- Genuine interest in investments
- Proactive approach and willingness to take ownership
