Job Description:

  • Full lifecycle real estate investing across domestic and global markets
  • Lead due diligence, financial modelling and IC paper preparation
  • Join a high-calibre, commercially sharp and collaborative Investments team
  • Brighter Super is a Queensland-based superannuation fund that has provided trusted and reliable investment, advice, and insurance for over 60 years. In 2026, Brighter Super supports over 348,000 members and manages over $36bn in funds under management. With a disciplined investment philosophy and a genuinely member-first mindset, the Fund has built a reputation for strong long-term performance and thoughtful portfolio construction.

The Investments team is high-calibre, commercially sharp and genuinely collaborative. You’ll be surrounded by experienced investment professionals who challenge ideas constructively and share knowledge openly. Standards are high, but ego is low. It’s an ambitious environment where performance matters, people back themselves, and capable professionals are trusted and set up for long term success from day one.

As part of the continued evolution of its unlisted platform, Brighter Super is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to take a meaningful role on their Real Estate portfolio.

    The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Private Equity & Real Assets, you will work across the full real estate investment lifecycle - sourcing and assessing new opportunities, leading detailed due diligence, preparing investment papers and overseeing portfolio performance.

You will play a visible role in shaping real estate strategy, contributing to asset allocation decisions and partnering closely with senior stakeholders, external managers and advisors.

    Key focus areas include:
    • Assessing and executing new real estate investments across Australia and internationally (fund mandates, co-investments, and direct opportunities)
    • Building robust financial models to support valuation and portfolio construction decisions
    • Preparing high-quality Investment Committee and Board papers
    • Monitoring performance, risk and ESG outcomes across the portfolio
    • Contributing to asset class strategy and regulatory reporting requirements
    • Leading due diligence and preparing IC and Board papers
    • Ongoing manager engagement, performance interrogation and annual asset class reviews
This is a portfolio-facing role with genuine accountability - suited to someone ready to step beyond pure execution and take broader responsibility in this rare Brisbane Investments role in a leading superannuation fund and institutional investor.

    The Profile
You will bring strong real estate investment experience from superannuation, private markets, funds management or advisory (circa 10-year+ career experience). You are technically strong, commercially aware and comfortable forming and defending investment views.

Most importantly, you’re motivated by long-term value creation and want to contribute in a team where your impact genuinely matters. Brighter Super values professionals who operate with integrity - people who are trustworthy, transparent, accountable and committed to delivering meaningful outcomes for members.

Perigon Group is partnering exclusively with Brighter Super on this appointment. For a confidential discussion, please contact Haydn Furness at Perigon Group Brisbane via haydn.furness@perigongroup.com.au, or apply via the links provided.
