About the Role
A newly created Senior Legal Counsel position reporting directly to the General Counsel. Key focus areas include drafting and negotiating facility agreements and security documentation, supporting transaction execution and settlements, advising on enforcement and insolvency matters and assisting with corporate governance and disclosure obligations. You will also play an informal mentoring role within the team.
About You
You are an admitted Australian lawyer with 5+ years PQE and a background in commercial finance or a related practice area. Beyond the technical skills, what matters most here is who you are. You are commercially minded, autonomous and adaptable. You thrive in environments that move fast, take ownership of your work and bring ideas rather than waiting to be told what to do. Cultural fit is everything in this team.
