We are partnering with a well-established organisation with a strong national presence that is currently experiencing growth and change. Due to internal movement and increased year-end workload, they are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join the team on an initial 6-month temporary contract.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing across weekly/fortnightly/monthly cycles
- Ensure accurate payroll delivery in line with legislation, awards, and policies
- Maintain employee payroll records (new starters, terminations, variations, leave)
- Process payroll adjustments including overtime, allowances, deductions, and back pay
- Use Dayforce for payroll processing and system maintenance
- Reconcile payroll and support month-end reporting
- Ensure compliance with PAYG, superannuation, and payroll tax obligations
- Respond to employee payroll queries and provide timely support
- Assist with audits, reporting, and payroll compliance requirements
- Support process improvements and system efficiencies
- 3 - 5 Years Experience as a Senior Payroll Officer
- Dayforce experience essential
- Immediately available to start
