The role
Reporting into a Payroll Manager in a team of 5, key responsibilities will include:
  • Processing new hires, terminations, and employee changes
  • End-to-end monthly payroll processing
  • Reviewing weekly payroll from another team member
  • Managing payroll queries relating to superannuation, TFN, leave entitlements, and general payroll matters
  • Interpreting relevant awards, EBAs, and payroll legislation
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee data, including all leave types
  • Assisting with payroll reporting and compliance obligations
  • Supporting continuous improvement across payroll processes and systems

Skills & experience
  • a Minimum of 3 years experience in payroll, additional HR experience will be highly regarded
  • Strong communication an interpersonal skills
  • Systems savvy
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives highly regarded
