    The Opportunity
    Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of payroll across a multi-state workforce. This position offers a balance of autonomy and team collaboration, allowing you to take ownership of your payroll responsibilities while contributing to ongoing process improvements and best-practice payroll operations.

    You will work closely with colleagues across Finance, HR, and Operations to ensure employees are paid accurately, compliantly, and on time.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Manage end-to-end payroll processing
    • Administer payroll across multiple states, including payroll tax obligations 
    • Process employee terminations, redundancies, and final payments
    • Interpret and manage WorkCover claims and related payroll requirements
    • Maintain payroll records, templates, reports, and reconciliations
    • Utilise Excel for data analysis, reporting, and payroll validation
    • Review and verify timesheet data in partnership with internal stakeholders
    • Support team coverage and knowledge sharing to ensure business continuity
    • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve payroll efficiency
    • Respond to payroll queries and provide exceptional stakeholder support
    About You To be successful in this role, you will be a payroll professional who combines strong technical capability with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.

    You will bring:
    • Demonstrated experience in a high-volume end-to-end payroll position
    • Strong knowledge of WorkCover administration and payroll compliance requirements
    • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas
    • Experience managing payroll tax across multiple states
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
    • Well-developed communication skills and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
    • A proactive, positive, and team-oriented mindset
