About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join a dynamic and collaborative payroll team. This permanent role offers the opportunity to manage BAU payroll operations while contributing to major projects, including a system transition and acquisition integration. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, mentoring team members, and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate, end-to-end payroll for a large workforce
- Ensure compliance with awards, EBAs, and superannuation obligations
- Support payroll projects including system transition
- Assist with remediation work and acquisition integration
- Share knowledge and provide training to team members
- Minimum 5+ years’ senior payroll experience
- Strong compliance knowledge (awards, EBAs, super)
- Experience with large systems and exposure to transitions
- Ability to question processes and lead by example
- Collaborative team player with mentoring experience
