Our client is a well established Aussie group in a resilient sector which continues to grow steadily.
This is a unique standalone position manages a 250+ payroll on a fortnightly basis. You'll be replacing a long standing employee and will receive excellent training and handover.
The role will be 0.6-0.8 FTE depending on candidate.
You'll be required to go into the CBD based office 3 times per fortnight.
The role is mainly BAU and would offer a high degree of work life balance as a result.
The role
Duties include:
- Process end-to-end Fortnightly payroll for up to 400+ staff
- Maintaining employee data
- Processing on boarding & terminations
- Managing the administration, calculation, payment and reconciliation of all superannuation contributions & payroll tax
- Process time sheets (fortnightly/monthly pay runs)
- Adhere to Payroll statutory requirements
- Interpret of EBA and Modern Award
- Ad-hoc involvement with the system implementation
- Arrange new starters
About you
- At least 5-10 years of experience working with Aussie payrolls
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal - must love to engage and work closely in a team environment
