A well-established financial services organisation is seeking a Senior Procurement Advisor to join their Brisbane CBD based team on a 12 month fixed term contract. About the role
Reporting to a senior leader within the procurement function, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end procurement support across indirect spend categories, with a strong focus on governance, commercial outcomes and stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end procurement activities from sourcing through to contract execution
- Providing commercial and strategic procurement advice to internal stakeholders
- Leading tenders, RFx processes and supplier evaluations
- Supporting contract negotiation, lifecycle management and performance monitoring
- Ensuring compliance with internal procurement frameworks and policies
- Partnering with finance, legal and business leaders to drive value and mitigate risk
You will be a commercially minded procurement professional with experience operating in complex or regulated environments.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in a senior procurement or commercial advisory role
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability
- Experience managing RFx processes and contract negotiations
- A pragmatic and solutions focused approach
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Background in financial services, professional services or large corporate environments will be highly regarded
