We are partnering with a large, purpose-driven organisation undergoing a significant payroll transformation. Due to a major system implementation, they are seeking an experienced Payroll Project Specialist to support the delivery of a new payroll, time and attendance, and rostering system on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
This is a hands-on role suited to a payroll professional who enjoys project work, system testing, and process improvement within a complex, multi-award environment.
- Attend and contribute to payroll project meetings, planning sessions and workshops
- Develop, review and execute SIT, UAT and parallel payroll testing scenarios
- Create and prepare payroll data from legacy systems for testing and go-live cutover
- Reconcile legacy payroll data to ensure accuracy and completeness in the new system
- Identify risks, anomalies and gaps, and recommend practical process improvements
- Support the development of payroll SOPs, training materials and user documentation
- Partner closely with Payroll, Finance, HR and external vendors to support implementation
- Assist with go-live activities and post-implementation support as required
- 5+ years’ experience in payroll, with strong exposure to payroll projects or system implementations
- SAP SuccessFactors experience is highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, awards, EBAs, superannuation and salary packaging
- Immediately available or available at short notice
