Our Client is seeking an experienced Systems & Database Administrator to maintain, secure and optimise its cloud, infrastructure, identity and database environments. You will work across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Microsoft Entra ID and SQL Server while contributing to cloud adoption, automation and platform resilience.
As a senior technical escalation point, you will help ensure critical technology services remain reliable, secure and fit for purpose across a distributed operating environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server and hybrid infrastructure.
- Manage SQL Server security, backups, recovery and performance tuning.
- Support Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune and privileged access controls.
- Resolve complex incidents and coordinate outcomes with vendors and MSPs.
- Improve automation, resilience, documentation and disaster recovery.
- At least five years’ systems, infrastructure or database administration experience.
- Strong Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server and identity expertise.
- Hands-on SQL Server administration, recovery, security and tuning skills.
- Sound knowledge of cybersecurity, ITIL and service management practices.
- Australian working rights and a valid driver’s licence.
Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, multi-site operations or relevant Microsoft certifications will be highly regarded.
