This well-established manufacturing business is seeking a Systems Accountant to support ERP data integrity, operational process improvement and cross-functional system coordination across the business.
Working closely with Finance, Operations, Engineering and Production teams, this role will play a key part in ensuring the ERP system accurately reflects manufacturing and operational processes.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience across ERP systems, manufacturing operations and finance processes within a production environment.
You will support the maintenance and improvement of product master data, BOMs, routings and operational workflows while assisting with ERP optimisation and system enhancement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage product and operational data within the ERP system
- Ensure ERP data aligns with manufacturing processes, BOMs and product specifications
- Partner with operations, engineering, procurement and finance teams to maintain accurate system data
- Support ERP process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
- Monitor and improve data integrity through validation and auditing activities
- Assist with new product setup, engineering changes and system upgrades
- Support reporting, KPI tracking and operational costing processes
- Previous experience using Dynamics AX essential
- Previous experience in a Systems Accountant, ERP Analyst, Manufacturing Systems or Operations Finance role
- Strong understanding of BOMs, routings and operational workflows
- Process improvement mindset with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across operational and finance stakeholders
