A large, complex Australian organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Treasury Accountant to join its finance function. This role plays a key part in managing treasury operations, cash flow, and funding activities while supporting strong financial governance and risk management.
Working closely with senior finance stakeholders, this position offers broad exposure across treasury, financial reporting, and strategic initiatives in a structured and high-accountability environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day treasury operations including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and bank reconciliations
- Support funding activities, debt facilities, covenant compliance, and lender reporting
- Maintain strong relationships with banking partners and internal stakeholders
- Assist with hedge accounting, foreign exchange management, and interest rate risk reporting
- Prepare treasury-related accounting entries, reconciliations, and month-end reporting
- Contribute to budgets, forecasts, and financial modelling from a treasury perspective
- Support treasury policies, controls, and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- CA or CPA qualified with solid experience in treasury accounting within a large corporate environment
- Strong understanding of cash management, funding structures, and treasury controls
- Experience with complex balance sheets or capital-intensive organisations highly regarded
- High attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with senior finance leaders
