The Role
We're looking for a Director to join the Business Relationship Management
team in Sydney, driving new business origination from Corporate
Infrastructure and Project Finance (CIPF) issuers and sponsors across
Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the local Head of Australia, you'll
manage existing issuer and banker relationships while identifying new
opportunities and building the organisation's visibility and positioning
in the region.
What You'll Do
- Originate new business mandates from CIPF issuers and sponsors across ANZ
- Identify gaps and new opportunities, developing a strategic outreach plan
- Manage existing issuer and banker relationships to meet revenue budgets
- Support Private Credit initiatives across Australia and New Zealand
- Lead contract renewals in partnership with the global revenue management team
- Market the group's ESG-linked opinion products to target issuers
- Conduct market research and data analysis to develop pitch materials and track deal flow
- Represent the business at conferences, seminars and industry meetings to build market visibility.
About You
- Significant relationship management experience in Debt Capital Markets, banking or financial services - you may come from a bank coverage team or a DCM background, or have direct issuer-side experience in the sector
- Comfortable operating at CEO, CFO and Senior Treasurer level
- A strategic thinker who can develop and execute a marketing/outreach plan
- Degree qualified, with a specialisation in business, finance or a related discipline advantageous
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills advantageous
- Confident communicator who works collaboratively, manages priorities independently, and drives outcomes with initiative
