The Role
This is a maternity leave role managing a team of 5 and report directly to the CFO.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing financial reporting cycles, including month-end, year-end and consolidated outputs
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity across the general ledger and balance sheet
- Managing audit processes and statutory reporting obligations
- Driving improvements across financial controls, governance and compliance frameworks
- Leading budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management activities
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide insight into business performance
- Leading and developing the finance team, building capability and accountability
- Supporting the implementation of improved systems, automation and reporting tools
About you
You’re a confident Finance Manager or Financial Controller who is taking ownership of both technical and commercial outcomes. You enjoy building structure, improving processes and working closely with stakeholders to drive better financial understanding across the business.
You will bring:
- CA or CPA qualification
- People management skills
- Proven experience in a senior finance role with responsibility for reporting and controls
- Experience managing audit and compliance requirements
- Commercial mindset with the ability to partner with executive stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills with experience developing teams
