$70,000 – $80,000 + super | Brisbane | Full-time
Looking to build your career in HR and get exposure to more than just administration?
This is a great opportunity to join a growing, dynamic organisation where you'll be supported by an experienced People & Culture team and given the opportunity to expand your HR knowledge across the employee lifecycle.
You might be a recent HR graduate looking for your first step into the profession, or you may already have 1–2 years' experience in HR administration, recruitment or people operations and be ready to broaden your skill set.
What you'll be doing
Working alongside a supportive People & Culture team, you'll get exposure to a broad range of HR activity including:
- Supporting the employee lifecycle from onboarding through to exits, including contracts, variations, employee records and HR documentation.
- Assisting with recruitment, pre-employment checks, onboarding and new starter coordination.
- Responding to day-to-day employee and manager queries and learning how to navigate different HR scenarios.
- Supporting HR reporting, compliance, HRIS administration and maintaining accurate employee data.
- Assisting with performance, engagement, learning and development and other People & Culture initiatives.
- Helping with projects and process improvements as the organisation continues to grow.
- Building your understanding of employment legislation, policies and best-practice HR processes.
We're less concerned about having a long list of HR experience and more interested in your attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn.
You could be:
- A recent HR graduate looking for your first proper opportunity in People & Culture.
- An HR Administrator, Recruitment Coordinator or People Coordinator looking to broaden your exposure.
- Someone with strong administration experience who has completed HR studies and wants to move into the profession.
- Organised, approachable and comfortable dealing with people at all levels.
- Someone who enjoys being busy, asks questions and genuinely wants to understand why things are done, not just tick the box.
- Confident with systems and technology, with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new platforms.
This is an organisation that is growing, changing and building something, so it's not a role where you'll be doing the same thing every day. You'll have plenty of support and guidance around you, but you'll also be encouraged to get involved, take ownership and develop your HR knowledge as you go.
You'll be joining a collaborative and down-to-earth team that takes its work seriously without taking itself too seriously. There is a genuine opportunity to learn from experienced HR professionals, get exposure across different areas of People & Culture and build the foundations for your longer-term HR career.
What's on offer:
