Operations & Procurement Coordinator
North West Sydney
Full-time | Hybrid
$110,000-$120,000 + Super, DOE

Our client is a well-established, employee-owned Australian consultancy operating nationally across 19 offices. With a down-to-earth, collaborative culture and a large technical and engineering-led workforce, they offer a genuinely varied environment where no two days are quite the same.

This is a broad, hands-on role spanning corporate procurement, suppliers, insurance, fleet, property leases and tenders/business development support.

This isn't a traditional procurement role. They're looking for someone who enjoys variety, can take ownership and is comfortable jumping between different priorities across a national business.

About the Role
Sitting within the corporate services function, you'll become a key point of support across the business and work closely with Finance, Business Development, Legal, HSEW and branch management.
You'll inherit a varied remit with plenty of opportunity to improve processes, bring structure to existing systems and make the role your own over time.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating corporate insurance renewals, certificates of currency and claims administration
  • Managing fleet purchasing, disposals, records and associated administration
  • Maintaining the national property lease register, including renewals, rent reviews and key dates
  • Coordinating procurement of standard laboratory equipment, PPE and uniforms
  • Managing relationships with key corporate suppliers and identifying opportunities to improve value and processes
  • Supporting fixed asset records and associated financial administration
  • Coordinating EOIs, tenders, capability statements and client submissions
  • Maintaining prequalification panels, registrations, compliance and WHS documentation
  • Managing information and submissions across tender and client portals
  • Supporting the wider team with ad hoc projects and corporate initiatives as required
About You
This role will suit someone who is naturally organised, adaptable and comfortable operating across a broad remit rather than staying within one narrow area.
You may currently work in procurement, operations, contracts, supplier management, tender coordination or a broad commercial support role.
You'll be someone who:
  • Takes ownership and can hit the ground running
  • Is pragmatic, proactive and comfortable learning as you go
  • Can confidently juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Enjoys being the "go-to" person who can turn their hand to different tasks
  • Has strong attention to detail and good Excel skills
  • Can build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders at all levels
  • Is comfortable working within an evolving role and identifying better ways of doing things
Experience across insurance, fleet, leases, procurement, contracts or tender submissions would be highly regarded, but you don't necessarily need to have done everything on the list.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants a role with genuine visibility across a national organisation.
