The Role
Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in the accurate and timely processing of payroll while providing exceptional support to employees and stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing for a high-volume workforce
- Maintaining payroll records and employee data
- Processing terminations, leave payments and payroll adjustments
- Assisting with payroll tax, superannuation and compliance requirements
- Reviewing and validating timesheet information
- Responding to payroll queries from employees and managers
- Supporting reporting and payroll reconciliations
- Identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiencies
- Previous end-to-end payroll experience within a medium to large organisation
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience working within a high-volume payroll environment
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
