Continued investment in technology, customer experience and organisational capability is supporting Titles Queensland's long-term growth, creating an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Procurement & Contracts Manager to further strengthen its commercial procurement capability.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the CFO function, you will lead Titles Queensland's procurement and contract management framework across approximately $30–35m of annual third-party expenditure.
Operating within a hybrid procurement model, you'll own the policies, processes, governance, tools and commercial disciplines that enable effective procurement across the organisation, while individual business leaders retain ownership of their supplier relationships and contracts.
This is a highly practical role. You'll provide differing levels of support depending on the value, risk and complexity of each engagement – from guidance and governance through to hands-on management of significant procurement processes, sourcing documentation and commercial negotiations.
Your remit will include:
- Procurement frameworks, policies, processes and governance
- Procurement planning, sourcing and supplier engagement
- Commercial evaluation and contract negotiation
- Contract lifecycle management and supplier performance
- Supplier due diligence and procurement risk
- Contract registers, reporting and renewal management
- Supporting business leaders through complex procurement decisions
- Continually improving procurement tools, templates and organisational capability
About You
You'll be an experienced procurement and/or contracts professional who combines strong commercial judgement with the ability to operate hands-on.
Importantly, this isn't a role for someone who simply administers policy or manages a large procurement team. You'll be comfortable moving between strategic framework development and the practical detail of an individual procurement or contract negotiation.
You'll ideally bring:
- Broad procurement and contract lifecycle experience
- Strong commercial contracting and negotiation capability
- Procurement governance, probity and risk expertise
- Experience developing and improving procurement frameworks and processes
- Confidence engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders
- The ability to manage multiple concurrent procurement activities
- A pragmatic, commercially minded approach to balancing governance with business outcomes
Why Titles Queensland?
This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of procurement capability within an organisation where the role is sufficiently senior to influence how things are done, while remaining close enough to the business to have a tangible impact.
You'll partner with experienced senior leaders, work across a diverse portfolio of suppliers and commercial arrangements, and have the mandate to continually strengthen the frameworks, processes and tools supporting procurement and contract management.
Titles Queensland has built a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing culture where integrity, partnership and continuous improvement underpin the way people work together and make decisions.
