A well-regarded professional services firm is seeking a Risk & Compliance Analyst to join its national Risk & Compliance function. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to play a hands-on role in the firm's AML/CTF program and client intake processes.

Responsibilities
- Help bed down the firm's AML/CTF framework, including the policies, procedures and systems that sit behind it
- Keep the business on top of its AML/CTF obligations and be the go-to for everyday compliance questions
- Carry out client due diligence on engagements involving designated services, working within a decentralised model
- Stay across client risk ratings, trigger events, screening alerts and upcoming CDD renewals
- Run the quarterly internal audit of the AML/CTF program end to end
- Keep clean, well-evidenced records that demonstrate the program is working as it should
- Help maintain information barriers and the risk controls that support them
- Guide advisory teams through complex new client and new matter intake
- Field and resolve compliance queries tied to taking on new business
- Pitch in on wider compliance matters, such as external appointments and financial interest disclosures
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a similar role within a professional services organisation, financial institution or regulated environment is desirable
- Comprehensive knowledge of the AML/CTF Act and Rules, particularly as they relate to customer due diligence
- Working knowledge of professional conduct requirements and risk management principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with partners and senior stakeholders
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and strong attention to detail
- The ability to interpret policy and apply it to real-world scenarios
