Key Responsibilities
- Oversee outsourced payroll delivery, ensuring service levels, accuracy and payroll deadlines are achieved
- Review payroll calculations, reconciliations, statutory reporting and complex employee transactions including terminations and off-cycle payments
- Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation including Awards, Fair Work, STP, superannuation and payroll tax obligations
- Lead payroll audits, governance activities, reporting requirements and regulatory submissions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, strengthen payroll controls and maintain payroll documentation
- 5+ years' Australian payroll experience in a complex corporate environment
- Strong technical knowledge of Fair Work legislation, Modern Awards, payroll tax, superannuation and STP reporting
- Demonstrated experience working with outsourced payroll providers and managing key stakeholder relationships
- Advanced reconciliation, reporting and payroll compliance capability
- Exposure to APAC or multi-country payroll environments will be highly regarded
