Sarah Kennedy is the Managing Director of Perigon Group and brings more than 20 years of recruitment and executive leadership experience across Australia and international markets, including Canada, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

 

Throughout her career, Sarah has built, led and grown high-performing recruitment teams across multiple geographies and disciplines. Following a successful career with one of the world's largest listed finance and accounting recruitment firms, she gained valuable international leadership experience in Canada before relocating to Sydney in 2006 to establish and grow a specialised Financial Institutions contracting division.

 

In 2010, Sarah started Perigon Group alongside its founder Nigel Barcham and played a key role in building the firm's Finance & Accounting and Financial Services businesses in Sydney. In 2014, she returned home to Queensland with her family and launched Perigon Group's Brisbane office, growing the business from a team of two to a team of 20 and establishing a strong market presence across Finance, Technology, Risk, Corporate Services and Executive Search.

 

Today, Sarah's responsibilities extend across the national leadership of Perigon Group. Drawing on her experience building teams in Canada, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, she is focused on driving growth, developing future leaders and creating high-performing teams that deliver exceptional outcomes for clients and candidates.

 

Over the past two years, Sarah has led several key growth initiatives across the business, including the expansion of Perigon Group's national Government division and the reinvigoration of the Melbourne Finance & Accounting practice. She has also overseen the growth of the firm's Executive Search capability, partnering with organisations ranging from privately owned businesses to ASX-listed companies, government agencies and not-for-profit organisations. Sarah remains actively involved in executive search, specialising in executive appointments, board and Chair appointments, and other senior leadership searches across a diverse range of sectors.
