Details of the role:
- Own your slice of month-end — journals, accruals, reconciliations, workpapers, reporting packs
- Run balance sheet recs and support P&L reviews and variance analysis
- Manage fixed assets, capex and depreciation, including additions and disposals
- Handle bank, credit card, cash and daily sales reconciliations
- Get across BAS workpapers and FBT analysis (bonus points if you already are)
- Provide AP backup when needed — coding, approvals, payment runs
- Be the finance person the teams actually want to talk to
- 2-4 years in finance or accounting, degree-backed
- CPA/CA qualified, working towards it, or a strong Assistant Accountant ready to step up
- Confident with Excel — PivotTables, lookups, clean recs
- ERP exposure (Dynamics 365 BC, Adyen, Exerp or similar) is a plus, not a must
- A steady head for deadlines and a habit of catching small issues before they become big ones
