This role sits at the heart of how capital funding gets allocated and delivered. You'll assess grant applications for eligibility, support the assessment panel and prioritisation process, and then carry projects through tender, procurement and contract management once funding is approved, including reviewing tender claims and project costings.
This isn't a construction role. You won't be managing builds on site. Instead you'll be the one ensuring funding is administered fairly, projects are properly governed, and contracts are managed soundly from a desk based advisory position with regular travel across the state.
What you'll bring:
- A background in quantity surveying, construction, contract management or a related discipline
- Around 5 to 7 years experience, ideal for someone looking for a change of pace from a traditional QS or construction path
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with project costings, financial scenarios and scopes of work
- Attractive total package
- Hybrid working arrangement
- Supportive, close knit team environment
- Opportunity to build a long term career within a well regarded organisation
