ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR Advisor who is looking for more than just their next role. It's an opportunity to build a strong foundation within a complex and interesting business, develop trusted stakeholder relationships and ultimately progress into a genuine business partnering position.

During your first 12-18 months, the focus will be on understanding the organisation, its people and its operations, while providing hands-on HR advisory support and working closely with the Head of HR.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and stakeholders across the business.
• Preparing and managing employment contracts, variations, amendments and associated documentation.
• Supporting the Head of HR across a broad range of operational and strategic people initiatives.
• Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and developing an understanding of their business needs.
• Contributing to HR process improvements and ensuring accurate, consistent people practices.
• Gaining valuable exposure to an upcoming Workday implementation project.

As your knowledge of the business grows, so too will your responsibilities, with a clear opportunity to transition into a more commercially focused HR Business Partner role.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for an HR professional who brings a solid foundation in HR advisory and is genuinely excited by the opportunity to learn, develop and grow.

You'll ideally bring:

• Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR position.
• Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Experience managing employment contracts, variations and general HR documentation.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• A proactive, curious and adaptable approach, with a willingness to get involved in both operational and project-based work.
• A genuine interest in developing your commercial HR capability and progressing towards business partnering.
