An exciting opportunity exists for a Legal Counsel to join a growing funds management organisation and work across a diverse range of investment products.
This role offers exposure to the full product lifecycle and the chance to work alongside experienced legal professionals on complex and commercially significant matters. With a strong pipeline of product development initiatives ahead, you'll gain hands-on involvement in projects that directly impact the business and its clients.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, you'll provide practical legal support across investment products, regulatory matters and broader commercial initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting legal work across the lifecycle of investment products
- Assisting with product development and new product launches
- Reviewing and preparing legal and disclosure documentation
- Advising stakeholders on legal, regulatory and governance requirements
- Assisting with the implementation of legislative and regulatory changes
- Supporting commercial contracts and broader business projects
- Working closely with Product, Compliance and Company Secretariat teams
You are a commercially minded lawyer looking to build your expertise within funds management and investment products.
You'll ideally offer:
- 3-5 years post-admission experience
- Experience within funds management, financial services or corporate/commercial law
- Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to build relationships across a range of stakeholders
- A practical and collaborative approach to legal advice
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Exposure to a broad range of investment products and legal matters
